If you build it, people will come. That may have been good advice for Kevin Costner in the 1989 film Field of Dreams, but building a new office, or even purchasing one, may not make sense for your particular practice at this particular time. (See “Leasing vs. buying” on page 19.) If leasing is the best choice for your practice, here’s what you need to consider before you sign on the dotted line.
